Amy Nutt. asked:

A pharmacist is an individual who is trained in the dispensing of medications to patients. They are trained the knowledge of medicines, compounds and ingredients, their effects in the body and interactions with other medicines. Pharmacies keep confidential computerized records of patients’ drug therapies to prevent harmful drug interactions when dispensing new or additional medications. Pharmacists are responsible for the accuracy of every prescription that is filled, sometimes verifying with the prescribing doctor, they will also manage Pharmacy technicians and pharmacy aides to assist them in the dispensing process. The pharmacist will often delegate prescription-filling and administrative tasks and supervise their completion. Pharmacists also frequently oversee pharmacy students serving as interns.

Career options

Retail

The first pharmacies were retail shops where medicines and tonics were sold for treatment of ailments and illnesses. These pharmacists mixed compounds and ingredients according to the patients needs. Pharmacists then and today have the knowledge about medicines, what they can cure or ease, and their effects when taken with other medicines or foods. Pharmacists in retail pharmacies dispense medications, counsel patients on the use of prescription and over-the-counter medications, and advise physicians about patients’ medication therapy. They can counsel patients about common health topics such as diet, exercise, and stress reduction. As drugstores also carry other medical related supplies, the pharmacist is there as a healthcare professional able to advice on the purchase and use of medical equipment such as crutches and braces.

Healthcare

Pharmacists are an important part of the Healthcare system. Each hospital, clinic, nursing and convalescent home has pharmacists who will take the doctors prescription and devise a medicine regimen for treatment. Hospitals have a number of pharmacists who prescribe the medications and arrange daily dosages for each patient.

Insurance and benefits companies also require pharmacists to monitor prescriptions and treatments for reimbursement purposes. Pharmacists are also responsible for creating medicinal regimens and assist in establishing process and procedures for review and approvals for treatments.

Pharmaceutical

Pharmacists and other related scientists are the founders of most of the modern pharmaceutical companies in the world. In earlier times, pharmacies sold medicines that were mixed or compounded in the store for each person. As the types of mixtures increased and other medicines were found to be effective against certain illnesses and ailments, pharmacists started companies to manufacture medicines that can be sold to a wider number of persons with the same ailment. Over time these companies became the first pharmaceuticals. Pharmacists are employed today in the pharmaceutical industry not only for research and development but for education of the consumers’ of the medicines such as retail pharmacy chains and insurance companies, and doctors.

Other fields

Pharmacists are increasingly pursing careers in other fields. Pharmacists work for the government, veterinary medicine, managed care organizations, public health care services, the armed services, or pharmacy associations. Pharmacists are also employed full time or part time as school faculty, teaching classes or performing research in a wide range of areas.

Sleeping during the course of the day is normal – especially when you do not have things to do and just want a bit of rest. However, it can be quite a problem if you succumb to daytime sleepiness at random times, particularly during hours when you should be working or concentrating on something. If these situations happen frequently enough, you could be suffering from narcolepsy. Here are some tips that can help you cope with narcolepsy:

1. Read up information on narcolepsy.

When you have some free time in your hands – meaning you’re not nodding off to sleep – read up about narcolepsy. Understanding your condition is key in finding the right solutions. For example, do you know that a person who suffers from narcolepsy is called narcoleptic and that imbalances in brain chemicals cause it? And one more thing – narcolepsy is incurable. It is a chronic disorder that needs a lifetime of management if you want to spend some time out of the bedroom. But despite it being incurable, it’ll help you to know that there are medications and techniques that can actually keep you awake when you want to.

2. Be ready for symptoms.

A lot of narcolepsy symptoms get misdiagnosed as that of other more popular disorders such as anxiety, depression, and  drug abuse so it is important to pay attention. Symptoms of narcolepsy rarely come singly; most often than not, these signs come in pairs or in progression. Some symptoms to watch out for include overwhelming drowsiness and an uncontrollable need to sleep during the day, cataplexy (sudden loss of muscle tone which results in slurred speech and general muscle weakness), sleep paralysis (temporary inability to move or speak while falling asleep or upon waking.), and hallucinations. Restless nighttime sleep is also a symptom.

3. Address and treat symptoms.

Since managing narcolepsy largely depends in controlling its symptoms and causes, it is time to pay attention to these matters. Excessive daytime drowsiness or EDS can be prevented by establishing good nighttime sleep routines. If you are bothered by insomnia – which can make EDS worse – buying sleep aid drugs online can help. Just be sure to check with your doctor to ensure that no negative interactions will occur. EDS can also be fought off by using stimulants. On the other hand, antidepressants are also useful in preventing hallucinations. Just remember to follow your doctor’s prescription religiously to avoid overdosing and other complications.

4. Practice preventive measures.

To stave off EDS, take short naps at strategic times during the day. These naps can help boost your alertness and prevent drowsiness for at least three hours. Avoiding nicotine and alcohol can also help a lot since they can cause other symptoms to worsen. It also helps to stick to a strict sleep schedule as this can help your body clock recognize between the right and wrong time to fall asleep. Exercising and eating a balanced diet can also prevent muscle loss and weakness.

5. Form a support group.

Having a support from your workplace or school can significantly boost your chances of coping with narcolepsy. The American with Disabilities Act prohibits discrimination against narcoleptic workers and requires employers to provide reasonable accommodations to qualified employees. You can talk to your teacher or boss about taking short naps during the day, recording meetings and lectures, or breaking up monotonous tasks.

Are vaccines still necessary? Are they harmful?

vaccine
David Cummings asked:

Are vaccines still necessary? Are they harmful? It is difficult to make an informed decision about vaccinating your child with all the myths surrounding vaccines and they recent media claims regarding them.

Myth 1 – These Diseases Are Gone So We Don’t Need Vaccines

Many parents who have chosen not to vaccinate their children do so under the belief that the diseases that the vaccines protect against are no longer a threat. Since we typically no longer see the effects of devastating diseases such as polio it seems like these diseases no longer exist. These diseases do still exist. While they may be almost gone in developed countries, all it takes is one plane ride to expose someone to a potentially deadly threat. As the numbers of people who choose not to vaccinate their children rises, so will the threat that these diseases will return. Recent mumps outbreaks in young adults are an indication that these diseases are still around.

Myth 2 – The Side Effects Are Too Dangerous

Can vaccines cause side effects? Yes, they can. Some children can be allergic to something in the vaccine, and others will have a neurological response to the vaccine and perhaps experience a seizure. So there is a risk when you give your child a vaccine, but these types of reactions are very rare. After receiving a vaccine, most children typically experience a low grade fever.

The most controversial potential side effect of immunizations is autism. Some parents claim that their children developed autism after receiving a vaccine. There have not yet been any definitive scientific studies which indicate that vaccines are the root cause of autism for most children, even though the symptoms seem too appear in a similar time as the vaccines. Autism can still develop in children who have never been vaccinated, indicating there are other underlying causes for this disease. In very rare cases, a severe neurological reaction to a vaccine can cause a child to develop a permanent condition such as autism, but vaccines cannot be linked definitively to most autism cases. The risk of a child getting one of the diseases the vaccines protect against is far higher than the risk of the child developing autism as a result of the vaccine.

Myth 3 – Breastfeeding Means My Child Doesn’t Need Vaccines

There is no doubt that breastfeeding provides your baby with important immunities. However, there are some antibodies that are not passed on through ****** milk, including serious conditions like polio and diphtheria. Also, the antibodies do not last once your baby is weaned, but the immunity that a vaccine provides is lifelong.

In reality, all vaccines do carry some risks. It is impossible to know for sure you baby will not have a reaction to any vaccine in much the same manner you do not know if your child will have a reaction to the foods you introduce to her. The danger of the diseases that vaccines protect against is very high, however, so you as a parent must weigh that danger against the risk of the vaccine and make a decision for yourself.

Amelia asked:

It is a commonly known fact that healthy person must have sound body as well as sound soul. Both factors are interconnected, that is why when person is upset he cannot be considered absolutely healthy, as the harmony between soul and body is broken. What are the reasons of disappointment? They can be different – starting with career failure till inability to create a loving family. Nevertheless, the main reason why person feels himself terrible or is in a bad mood is certainly his outlook. Especially, it concerns women’s health, because women are expected to look gorgeous due to their ***.

One can surely say that whole woman’s life depends on her outlook and this is not an exaggeration. Every lady likes to have men’s attention; especially it is urgent in college and university when lady’s social status depends on how much attention she receives from young men. It is natural that a slim and sporty girl will draw all the attention, while stout one will constantly feel depressed and lonely. In the majority of cases this feeling of depression leads to despair, which forces these ladies to starve for days and then eat so much that the weight, lost during this exhausting starvation, doubles.

Another sphere where women’ outlook is important is professional career. As a rule all the companies try to hire beautiful slim ladies, especially those, which are somehow connected with trade – they need gorgeous and fresh persons with fine slim figure to attract more customers. Even in the supermarkets, slim and pleasant persons receive more attention and polite attitude, while stout ones are served through clenched teeth, particularly if they buy food. It is certainly unfair that people feel disgust for the stout persons, but we are living in a cruel world and there is nothing we can do to solve this problem.

Certainly, there are various reasons why people gain considerable weight and mostly it’s not their desire to eat as much as they can. There are such illnesses as incorrect metabolism, obesity or people may simply gain weight because their inability to move or support sufficient load, due to the physical deformities. Stout people frequently feel themselves bad; they are all the time depressed because of their outlook, they harshly survive heat and are constantly sweating. Those persons, who are stout from childhood are often humiliated at school and college, it influences their mentality, forcing them to retire into themselves and depriving them from the ability to enjoy life colors.

As the question of plumpness was raised, let’s discuss the possible solutions. Every person whom you ask how to loose weight will tell you to go to the gym. Ok, maybe he is right, but only partially. Only healthy people, who have plenty of spare time, can afford to go to the gym and try to loose their weight there. Average person, who works hard all day and has a short break, eats quickly fast food not to feel the hunger tortures, finally, when he reaches home late in the evening, tired and unable to make anything – the only thing he can do is to warm semi-finished product and have supper. That is why gym is suitable only for a limited amount of people. Those persons who have physical diseases, as well cannot go to the gym, because they are risking their life if something goes wrong with the load.

One more available option is to buy expensive miostimulators, but once again – they are not available for the majority of people with average income, because such an expensive purchase will make a great hole in their budget.

The only real and effective solution which is approved by the majority of health care organizations is – weigh loss medicines. They are affordable and do not require time or great amount of funds. These drugs without prescription are available for everybody and their effect is really amazing. What can be better? Among the most effective generic drugs are: Xenical, Acomplia and Lipitor. These amazing medications will return not only your slim and sporty figure, but also love and happiness. Such weight loss medications are available in any online pharmacy.

Nursing is not just a job where you just check the monitors and vital signs from time to time. The nursing field is filled with opportunities for the newcomers and the already trained nurses who wish to move forward in their careers. Once you pass out from nursing school, the difficult part is over with and the real excitement begins. You then are in a position to make a choice where and in what capacity you want to start your nursing career. The hospital floor is just one of the many options available out there for someone who wishes to be a floor nurse.

There is a wide range of options available in the area of floor nursing. Floor nurses have the choice of maternity, critical care, orthopedics, telemetry, surgical, geriatric, and pediatrics. Among these varied divisions are also oncology and burn units. A nurse can get plenty of work experience by choosing to work in one or many of these sections during their nursing terms. Floor nurses are in charge of a fixed number of patients on each floor that they work on. Patients feel comfortable by becoming familiar with the nurse who is looking after them and the nurses enjoy taking care and looking after these patients who during the period of hospitalization look up to them for most of their needs.

The nurses take a pledge at the beginning of their career to practice their profession faithfully and to maintain and improve the standard of nursing along with being committed to their work. Nurses play a very crucial role in the health delivery system. As a floor nurse you spend more time in direct contact with patients and looking after their needs than within other groups of health professionals. The increasing diverse racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds of patients, colleagues, and staff may prove a challenge to you as you progress in your job as a nurse in any institution.

Floor nursing requires cautious and extensive care of individuals of all ages, families, groups and communities, suffering or otherwise and in all settings. Floor nursing includes caring for the patient and nursing him back to health, prevention of sickness, and the care of sick, disabled and dying people. In addition to all this you also need to promote a safe and clean environment, take an active part in creating health policies for in-patient health care as well. Being a floor nurse can be taxing at times with long hours of tending to patient needs, co-coordinating with doctors and following up with the pharmacy, reassuring families and many other duties. You should have the team spirit to interact with colleagues and get work done smoothly.

Floor nurses basically help doctors with the otherwise time consuming tasks like taking down a patient’s health history, conducting physical examinations and doing the basic ground work for the doctor to work on. Those who have a Drug Devise Furnishing certificate can also prescribe medication and suggest medical devices when working directly under trained supervision of doctors. You need to have knowledge of basic patient care and supervise hygiene and monitor vital signs and other skin care essentials. Your interpersonal skills should be very good to be able to interact with other staff, doctors, patients and their families. On the whole it can be a very satisfying and fulfilling job if you are dedicated to nursing people back to health.

Unitek College asked:

A career as an emergency medical technician can be both exciting and rewarding. No other field allows you to be right there in the action all of the time, and helping others at the same time. If this is your chosen career path you likely won’t be disappointed.

When selecting a course to train to become an EMT there are a few things that need to be considered. Simply choosing the cheapest course, or the one that is closest to home, isn’t always the best idea. You may find that you have wasted your money; when you discover that the training didn’t prepare you for NREMT exams.

Luckily choosing the right basic EMT training course needn’t be difficult. If you know what you should be learning choosing the right program is actually quite simple.

Characteristics of an EMT Course

1. Length: When you begin looking at training options, you will find a wide variety of course lengths for emergency medical technician training. Your course may be completed in as little as 2 weeks, or as long as 6 months. Most programs provide about 120-140 hours of instruction time. With the actual class time being the same, if you can manage an accelerated 2 or 3 week course, then you enable yourself to get into the workforce faster.

2. Course Content: A good EMT program will teach you to assess, stabilize, treat, and transport patients. Basically you will be learning how to responds to emergency situations, and deal with them quickly to get the patient the care they need. The EMT training should include certifications in various areas of emergency medical services, and hands on learning element.

3. Hands-On Learning: Your EMT training will likely include some classroom time, but it should also include hands-on training. This element of your learning program will prepare you for situations that you will have to deal with everyday. Learning the theory behind emergency services is important, but without learning how to perform them as well, you may be lost when you do begin your career.

4. Certifications: When you go to take your NREMT test, at the very least you will need CPR certification. A good EMT training course will include advance CPR training, and should include other certifications as well. Glucometer, advanced airway, and I.V. maintenance are some of the other topics that should be covered in your training.

5. NREMT Certificate: When you are finished with your emergency medical technician training, the course provider should supply you with a certificate. This document is required to take the NREMT’s EMT – Basic exam. If your training does not provide this, then the provider likely isn’t a state-approved training facility, and their course should be avoided.

In your new career as an emergency medical technician, you will be required to provide emergency medical services on a daily basis. Getting the right start, by choosing a course that fits, is the key to learning to provide the best patient care. When it’s time for you to begin your training, use this guide to ensure that you find a school that will prepare you for your new career.

Robert Levin asked:

Everyone has heard the old line “there are too many lawyers”.  While this may be true, the next question one must as is…why?  Why is pursuing law such a popular path to follow and what exactly are the benefits and negatives of pursuing a law degree?  In this article I’ll explore the ‘right’ reasons and also some ‘wrong’ reasons to pursue this time consuming and expensive undertaking.

The Love of Law

The first and ‘best’ reason to pursue a Law Degree is of course that you absolutely LOVE the law.  Do you sit up late at night debating controversial legal issues with your friends?  Do you find yourself getting into heated arguments over the right to fair trial of non-citizen combatants in the Iraq war or perhaps the various ethical and legal sides of the abortion issue.  Is your favorite channel C-span or Court TV and is your book shelf full of books about famous legal cases or issues?

If this sounds like you then you might be law school material.  The best lawyers…and law students have a PASSION for the law.  They don’t look at reading 500 pages of a constitutional law book as work, they relish it.  While there are certainly other good reasons to go to law school, perhaps no other is as good a predictor of success as your love of the subject matter.

Critical Thinking

One of the often overlooked but perhaps most important skills you learn by attending law school is the development of your critical thinking ability.  The ability to look at an issue from its various sides, do the research to fully understand the intricacies of an issue and the ability to argue and defend your position are incredibly valuable skills that will serve you for the rest of your life in and outside of the law field.

Many attorneys find that the research and critical thinking skills help them in areas they never even considered from personal relationships to managing employees and building a business.  Of course these skills are crucial in the legal profession itself, but a legal education can be a great exercise in improving one’s ability to handle the complex negotiations of life.

Career Dynamite

Obtaining a law degree can be a tremendous asset when paired with a degree or specialized knowledge in another field.  By using your specific knowledge and experience and having a law degree you then are perfectly tailored to work as legal counsel for a plethora of fields.

For instance a pharmacy degree paired with a law degree makes you a great asset as counsel in a firm that specializes in pharmaceutical firms.  Architecture, real estate or construction experience teamed with a law degree can make you a great real estate attorney.  The real world experience you possess in the specific field makes you an invaluable asset to law firms that might have top notch attorneys but little hands on, practical experience in that field.

Wrong Reasons

It is very important to be aware of the wrong reasons to pursue a law degree…and there are many.  Some people decide to go to law school because they simply don’t know what else to do.  Besides being an obvious waste of time, most often these people do not end up even working in the legal profession.

Others want to become an attorney not because they really like law, but because they want the perceived ‘prestige’ that having a law degree attaches.  People that go to law school for this reason tend to have self-esteem issues and are looking to fill a void with the ‘title’ of lawyer even though they really have very little passion for the profession.  They often don’t really know what they want to do and think spending three years in school is a way of either staying out of the ‘real world’ or that they’ll ‘figure it out’ in law school.  Law school is so work intensive that is highly recommended you don’t attend unless you really know you want it for the right reasons.

Finally, there’s the money.  While any profession is ultimately responsible for giving you a pay check, potential law school candidates should be aware that the vast majority of lawyers don’t make gobs of money.  While it is true that if you attend a top, Ivy League school and get into a top firm you can make a very good living, this is really only something that a very small percentage will accomplish.  The big money starts if you make Partner in a firm, which is highly competitive and can take many years.  For those simply looking to make good money, there are other professions that are comparatively easier to accomplish this in finance and banking and without the need to attend law school.  However, if your passion is the law then there are certainly great financial rewards for those that position themselves correctly.  For more great articles and insights please visit www.LawDegree.me.

Alvin Starkman asked:

Alvin Starkman, M.A., LL.B.

An examination of tourist reviews of quality, reputable bed and breakfast accommodations in Oaxaca, reveals occasional commentaries relating to noise, insects, smells and sanitation.

Travelers to a southern, Third World country, who want at least partial immersion into the host society as an element of their total vacation, must recognize that their choice of accommodation is an integral ingredient of the overall experience.  By virtue of not selecting a Holiday Inn, Fiesta Inn or high end hotel in another international chain, you’re making a statement, and it’s not necessarily about how much you can afford or choose to pay.

Tourists who opt to lodge in the quaint, traditional setting of a family-run bed and breakfast, guest house or small hotel in Oaxaca seek a taste of “the real Mexico,” and a personal touch… but such a choice at times comes with night-time noise, unfamiliar insects, the odd unpleasant odor, and house rules which our Western mores, fueled by ethnocentrism, might lead us to mistakenly believe result in unsanitary conditions.

Even opting for the more traditional lodging style is no guarantee that your experience will be any different. Oaxaca is Oaxaca … a UNESCO world heritage site, so it must, and of course does, have something special to offer, including its multiplicity of rich and diverse cultural traditions.

                     ***************

Invite a middle class Oaxacan couple to vacation in your suburban home in Chicago, New York or Toronto.  The unaccustomed, every morning before leaving for the day’s activities, will go outside and place a neatly tied plastic bag in the trash … soiled toilet tissue.

The state of Oaxaca, as is the case with many Mexican destinations, does not have the quality of waste removal infrastructure to which you are likely accustomed. Oaxacans have learned that the best way to avoid clogged and backed up drains, minimize the likelihood of unnecessary repair costs, be a considerate neighbor, and act in an ecologically responsible manner, is to not flush paper into either the municipal drainage system or the septic tank.

Although toilet paper has been around since late 14th century China, and the first flush toilet was developed in 1596, it seems as though we’re still struggling with the perfect recipe for excrement disposal … at least here in southern Mexico.  But are we unsanitary?  You be the judge:  your hotel staff removing the bagged Charmin from the hotel every day or two; or running the risk of sewage coming up from the drain either in your lodging or outside on the street.

Your hosts will not ask you to leave for breaching this often unwritten rule, and they’ll probably never know that you’ve done so.  But do consider their request.  And by all means, when you have Mexican house guests with you in your home town, tell them they can, and should, flush it down.

Unpleasant odors are a fact of life from time to time in most rental accommodations, and in fact in the majority of Oaxacan households regardless of socio-economic rank of their inhabitants.  It’s a function of antiquated municipal water delivery and waste removal systems.  At certain times of the year our tap water arrives somewhat less than transparent, even though we religiously use and clean our filters—it’s even been known to happen in some major American and Canadian cities from time to time during a hot spell. The water is nevertheless safe without boiling or additional treatment, for bathing, doing dishes and other non-ingesting purposes.  A partial solution is to order trucks, known as pipas, to fill our cisterns. The water usually, but not always, arrives crystal clear, sometimes even with a bit of green algae, evidencing its origin from a pure mountain spring, though not Irish.

In the rainy season at times sewers overflow and otherwise manage to create peculiar smells for a short while. We learn to control and eradicate such temporary scents in short order with one or more antiseptic-style formulations.

Noise and the prevalence of insects and small animals is a function of the lodging environment you choose.  Certainly if you elect to stay on the top floor of a suburban hotel with hermetically sealed vinyl or aluminum windows facing a pool or alleyway, you’ll reduce the likelihood of encountering late-night noise and harmless tiny lizards.

Many travelers are drawn to downtown lodgings where inevitably there will be noise at night, predominantly from vehicular traffic, and as you get closer to the zócalo, from music and year-round fiestas.  As you move out from the centro histórico, the quality of the din begins to change, at times characterized by canine barking, rooster calls and a plethora of other sounds echoing across the valley.  Regardless of where travelers elect to stay, there will no doubt be the resonance of horns, bells, whistles and calls of vendors plying their wares, and of late night fireworks.   This is part of the culture of southern Mexican society, on the one hand lacking noise bylaws (or at least their enforcement), and on the other evidencing a richness of tradition, albeit different from that within which most tourists to the region have been raised.  Many visitors either purchase ear plugs at a local pharmacy or bring along their own, certainly doing the trick, if that’s what you want, that is to reduce the opportunity to enrich your oratory sense late night before retiring, and in the early morning hours.

Selecting a lodging style characterized by rooms with wooden doors and windows opening onto a lush courtyard, or perhaps a guest house with aesthetically pleasing adobe walls assuring tourists of a fresh and comfortable inside temperature no matter how hot it is outside, enables vacationers to enhance their Latin American travel experience.  But you will see the odd spider, maybe even little lizards which keep mosquitoes in check, or ants or beetles depending on the time of year.  It’s all a trade off, for both guests and their hosts.  We fumigate periodically, but have environmental concerns as well.  We might try to visually enhance our accommodations by putting art on the adobe walls, although this creates an ideal hiding place for harmless crawling insects.  We maintain a rustic look with pine or cedar doors and windows which we might leave open during the day for fresh air circulation, and to welcome the pleasing perfume of flowering bushes in our gardens, but even with screens we cannot keep out every minute courtyard critter.

                           ***************

The rewards of selecting an accommodation-type which fits into the context of the vacation experience you seek are innumerable.  There are only two  prerequisites:   that you seek to understand, get used to and in certain cases welcome, and accept for at least a week or two, the lifestyle, worldview and cultural traditions of others who in fact are not all different from you;  and that you remember that your hosts are dedicated to providing you with value-added service which above all will ensure your comfort, safety and security, and enjoyment of the magic of Oaxaca.

The market for vaccines is expected to experience CAGR growth of over 16% in the next five years and the industry will emerge as the fastest growing therapy area. The US and Europe represents the two largest vaccine markets (in fact, these tow countries were the largest markets in 2007) and will continue to experience healthy growth in future.

Segment-wise, pediatric vaccines presently dominate the global vaccine market but adult vaccine segments will define the future direction of growth. The cancer vaccine marker, led by cervical cancer vaccines, is presently one of the most lucrative areas for vaccine manufacturers. Overall, cancer vaccines are expected to account for nearly 27% of the total vaccine revenues by 2012.

Owing to lower margins and the mature nature of these markets, the basic and enhanced pediatric markets are expected to show stagnant growth in future. On the other hand, launch of a number of new vaccines will make the addiction, cancer and proprietary pediatrics/adolescent vaccine market highly dynamic. On a whole, the global vaccine market is expected to register revenues in excess of US$ 30 Billion by 2012.

“Global Vaccine Market Forecast to 2012”, new research report, states that vaccines, which were earlier thought as a low margin, low growth industry, have emerged as one of the most lucrative segments in the pharmaceutical industry.
